It’s a monomeric carbodiimide antihydrolysis agent or hydrolysis stabilizers;it’swidely used in thermoplastic resins such as polyester polyurethane,PLA,PET/PBT,elastomers,adhesives and coating systems.as the antihydrolysis agent for PET,PBT,PA,CO-PET,PU,TPU,CPU,TPEE,EVA,PLA,PHA,PBS,PTT,it can extend the usage life of these polymers under hot and high humid conditions.

Applications and characteristics:
It’s particular antihydrolysis agent for polyester-polyurethane elasomers also widely used in other thermoplastic resins such as PLA,PET/PBT,elastomers,adhesives and coating systems.as the antihydrolysis agent for PET,PBT,PA,CO-PET,PU,TPU,CPU,TPEE,EVA,PLA,PHA,PBS,PTT,it can extend the usage life of these polymers under hot and high humid conditions.
· it’s an acitve antihydrolysis agent for polyester polyurethanes;produced by hot casting as well as for adhesives based on polyester polyurethane;
· it’s normally being dissolved in the polyester polyol;alternatively, it may be added to the pre-polymer (only with terminal OH groups). An addition of 0.5 part by weight antihydrolysis agent monomeric carbodiimide I to 100 parts by weight polyester polyol approximately doubles the resistance to hydrolysis;
· Additions of 2.0 parts by weight to otherwise unprotected polyester polyurethane elastomers increases their resistance to hydrolysis approximately four times. These data were given by tests, conducted at 70 °C and 80 % relative humidity.
· To be most effective, antihydrolysis agent Stab I should be added to the polyester polyol during the warming-up period, starting at a minimum temperature of 50 °C(120 °F), to a maximum temperature of 120 °C (250 ° F). As it does not disperse readily (it may float undissolved on the surface), it should be stirred intensively.
· Antihydrolysis agent Stab I may slightly accelerate the crosslinking reaction (polyester polyol/iscoyanate). This can be counteracted by adding a very small amount of an organic acid (e.g. citric acid).
